The Switchblade Flick Knife

A switchblade flick knife is a very effective self-defense device that can be easily concealed when carried and which makes it an extremely effective weapon to use in times of emergency. Although many people do not know the name of this knife, it is something that everyone should be familiar with.

A switchblade flick knife is a very compact type of knife that has a sliding or folding blade enclosed in its handle, which is pulled automatically when a switch, lever or other switch in the handle is pressed. The switch in this case is not attached to the blade so it does not have a locking mechanism. It is used primarily for use as a knife but has become popular as an effective self defense weapon as well. There are two types of switchblades: the pushbutton type and the thumbwheel type.

Switchblade knives have gained popularity among many people for its relatively simple design that is easy to maintain and clean. This knife can be found in a wide variety of colors, styles, and configurations and will work with most pocket and utility knives as well as other types of cutlery. A large number of manufacturers have been producing switchblade knives for over one hundred years and the designs of the knife are constantly changing to create a more versatile type of knife. There are many different brands of switchblades that are used for self-defense purposes ranging from the popular Gerber to smaller companies like Spyderco and Heckler & Koch.

The switchblade in a self-defense situation works on a principle similar to that of a switchblade knife. The main difference between a switchblade and a knife is that the blade is open at both ends while the knife is closed. This creates a situation in which if you are faced with an attack, either by a knife or by a blade, you will be able to push the blade open as far back as it can go and release the knife. The end of the blade will then retract into the handle, cutting the attacker when the blade is completely drawn back.

Switchblade knives have come a long way since they first began to be used for the first time in ancient times to help with personal security. When you find yourself in a dangerous situation, you can simply open the blade of the knife and quickly draw it back until you have a gap in the assailant's skin. When the knife is drawn back completely the knife will be held as low as possible and a strike to the eye or throat will be difficult to accomplish. Most criminals are not skilled at striking the eye or throat with a knife but a quick drawback on your part can quickly disable the attacker. if you have a good balance and good hand coordination, you will be able to get out of the situation alive.

The switchblade flick knife is also commonly used to make a quick getaway during a robbery or burglary. Many criminals have found that when they are held at gunpoint their only real option is to make a getaway and you are unable to call for help. Even if you do manage to escape the knife will usually be quickly drawn away and concealed and used to cut the throat of the criminal or another person when they become desperate.
